About The Role
As the interim Global Training and Performance Manager you’ll join our Centre of Expertise People Learning team, a global network of L&D experts dedicated to fostering... a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment by cultivating a culture of continuous feedback and development at Springer Nature.

Role Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement global learning and performance strategies to foster a learning culture with continuous feedback and development at the center.
• Lead global training initiatives to support the Performance and Development Process helping all colleagues to have better dialog with their manager. This includes creating training materials, delivering live sessions, and train the trainer.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to present updates, identify key needs, and ensure alignment with the overall strategy.
• Manage global L&D and performance communications to keep learning and development front of mind for employees and managers.
• Project manages training programs from identification of need through to delivery. Including managing timelines and budgets, consulting, coordinating and communicating with relevant stakeholders
• Use data analytics to demonstrate success and manage training programs from need identification to delivery, including timelines and budgets.
• Work closely with local and business and HR colleagues and help them work to global standards and use global processes.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
Essential
• Strong background in learning and development with a good understanding of performance processes.
• Experience working in a global environment and Strong intercultural awareness and experience in a complex, high-paced international organisation.
• Ability to manage communicates plans and write clear engaging communications for an international audience
• Experience in training delivery and facilitation, including train-the-trainer programs.
• Must be fluent in English and beneficial if proficient in German
• Project management skills to be able to design and manage training courses and programs, including working with external providers.
• Proactive attitude; self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently as needed
• Strong interpersonal skills and resilience
Desirable
• Strong data analytics skills with the ability to transform data into compelling narratives.
• Demonstratable experience with senior stakeholders.
• Educated to bachelor's degree or higher in related discipline or have equivalent experience.
