Chemistry Online Tutor at Elesta

Job Descrption
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Chemistry Teacher to educate a 14-year-old child in an online format. This is a role of a primary teacher (not a supplementary tutor) who will create their own comprehensive program for the child. The ideal candidate is a candidate with a strong background in teaching Chemistry and extensive experience in working with homeschooled children.

Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Experience: 6+ years of experience of working individually and in the groups with 12-15 y. o. children.
• Educational standards: Knowledge of curriculums and educational standards for the subject at this level, preferably in different education systems.
• Modern education: Knowledge of modern trends and approaches in education and the use of state-of-the-art technologies in teaching.
• Teaching Approach: Ability to apply methodologies focused on motivating and engaging the student in the learning process.
• Scientific approach... A systematic scientific approach for teaching, understanding the corresponding connections between different subjects and conveying it to the student.
• Fundamental approach: ability to "dig deep" and explain complex things in simple language, ability to put things in order.
• Languages: excellent English, knowledge of languages (Russian/Spanish) is a plus.
• Online Teaching Experience: Proven track record of conducting successful online lessons.
• Engagement: Willingness to actively engage in the child's learning process. Our children are homeschooled, and we require a teacher who can work collaboratively with a team of interesting and experienced educators to foster the child's holistic development.
• Individualized Approach: Capability to tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of each child.
• Flexible Schedule: Availability to offer a flexible schedule that accommodates the needs of both the children and their parents.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct online Chemistry lessons tailored to the developmental stages of a 14-year-old.
• Develop and implement your own comprehensive program for the child to foster systematic and fundamental understanding of the subject.
• Regularly assess and monitor student progress to meet learning goals.
• Keep students motivated and interested through interactive and relevant teaching methods.
• Provide a flexible teaching schedule that adapts to the family's needs.
