Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per year, plus commissions
Are you an experienced childcare professional passionate about providing high-quality care? We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our team and play a vital role in supporting our well-established nursery. Located in the heart of North West London, our community-focused nursery cares for children aged 3 months to 5 years, and we’re excited to welcome a Deputy Manager who is as dedicated to excellence as we are!
About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. From overseeing childcare quality to leading our dedicated staff team, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for our children.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Nursery Manager in daily operations to ensure a high-quality environment.
• Lead and guide the staff team to maintain our strong commitment to... childcare excellence.
• Uphold and monitor compliance with all regulatory standards and nursery policies.
• Support staff training, development, and recruitment, including induction processes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure clear, open communication with parents and carers.
• Implement effective safeguarding, health and safety, and best practice procedures.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring both experience and passion for childcare, with the drive to inspire and support your team.
Requirements:
• Level 3 Childcare Qualification or above.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a management role within a nursery or childcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and childcare regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster a team environment.
• Knowledge of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and Health & Safety procedures.
• Highly organized, with excellent time-management skills to support both team and nursery operations.
