Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our team in providing educational support to students. The ideal candidate will be qualified primary teacher with QTS and have experience as a class teacher for KS1 or KS2.
Have excellent subject knowledge for KS1 and KS2 Maths and a degree in Maths.
Have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum requirements for KS1 and KS2 Maths and English and ability to create exercises and assignment based on national curriculum
Ability to plan the Lessons based on national curriculum and tailor according to students performance. Good understanding of SATS and GL/CEM style questions.
Have excellent presentation and communication skills and able to connect to children.Be video confident and able to create video lessons , explaining solutions to complex Maths problems in a simple logical way, Able to share different strategies and techniques to solve maths and numerical reasoning problems.
Computer Literate and ability to use Word... PowerPoint, Excel and ability to learn other tools as required.
Be flexible, organised, professional, reliable and be a role model for students.
Enjoy working with children and strive towards improving students academically.
Be willing to undertake additional training relevant to the role.
Responsibilities:
- Create exercises and assignments based on national curriculum
- Create Video Lessons on various topics explaining concepts and different strategies to solve problems
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences
- Provide One to One Zoom Sessions tailored to each student's requirements
- Communicate effectively with students to understand their learning needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
Qualifications:
- Qualified primary teacher with QTS and have experience as a class teacher for KS1 or KS2.
- Degree in Mathematics
- Proficiency in tutoring and special education techniques
- Strong communication skills to engage with students effectively
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
- Passion for helping students achieve academic success
- All candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting

Pay: £88.99-£103.78 per day
