The Department of Mathematics at UCL invites applications for a Lecturer in Pure Mathematics position. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out and disseminating research in pure mathematics, supervising PhD students, and generating income to support research.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a developing track record of independent research excellence in pure mathematics, experience in teaching mathematics at university level, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Carrying out and disseminating research in pure mathematics
• Supervising PhD students
• Generating income to support research
• Teaching and supporting teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels
• Supporting administrative and management roles of the department
