Exterro is currently seeking a highly motivated, organized and goal-oriented Training Instructor focused on Forensics. You will be exposed to a fast-paced, dynamic, and successful work environment. Exterro is looking for a creative that will share your practical knowledge with the forensic and E-Discovery communities to improve the abilities and effectiveness of the industry.
This is a remote position within the United Kingdom and requires the ability to speak English and German.
Key Responsibilities:
• The instructor will be responsible for writing new and editing existing course manuals, white papers, etc.
• Instructors will teach courses both online and in-person to a variety of audiences both large and small.
• Instructors are also responsible to create and run various webinars, conference presentations, and demos.
• The instructor will also be required to create videos for On-Demand learning.
• Responsible for delivering instruction to client investigators and analysts... conducting digital forensic and eDiscovery investigations.
• Provides detailed instruction on the use of Exterro software products, and on the investigative skills and techniques used in digital investigations.
• Delivers cutting edge training to clients through various modalities, including to live classroom instruction, recorded video instruction, and live, internet-based instruction.
• Dedicate time to assist in Professional Services engagements and help support the International Technical Engineering team as required.
• Deliver effective instruction, through various modes, in all Exterro software products.
• Perform installation and demonstrate use of all Exterro software.
• Support the design and development of course materials in the training curriculum.
• Support the design and development of webinars, conference presentations and material in the field.
• Participate in the review and evaluation of course materials and enact appropriate recommendations and update course material as needed.
• Provide support to engineers through project delivery, participation in seminars, workshops and briefings and product demonstrations.
• Assist with other training responsibilities as deemed necessary.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
• Ability to develop complex, technical training materials for digital investigations of forensic/E-Discovery processes.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, clients or other agencies.
• Review translated training materials and product documentation to a high grammatical standard.
Education & Experience:
• Minimum requirement of two (2) years’ experience working in a hands-on technical role (digital forensic analyst, e-discovery analyst, or incident responder). Previous experience with Access Data/Exterro products is desirable.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer technology, forensics, or equivalent is required.
• Digital Forensic experience in either Law Enforcement, Corporate, or Private industries.
• Forensic Toolkit (FTK) experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong writing, speaking (English and German), and presentation skills
• Experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Some travel is required, estimated at 15%. This may include internal team and company meetings, as well as hosted client locations.
Other Skills and Competencies:
• Must be able to demonstrate capability in technical instruction.
• Must be able to demonstrate project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks. Knowledge in digital forensics and/or E-Discovery
• Methodologies relating time digital devices.
• Must be familiar with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025/ISO 17020/FSR Codes is desirable.
