Storeperson/Delivery Driver at Commissioning & Water Treatment company

Job Descrption
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. If you have experience as a van driver or in a warehouse environment, we encourage you to apply.
Duties
• Manage the small warehouse, maintaining and reporting on stock levels and delivery schedules.
• Operate a delivery van to transport goods to sites efficiently and safely.
• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of all products.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate effectively with the warehouse team.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a delivery driver/storeperson or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical pipwork fittings and... fixtures ideal.
• Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) and engage in physical activity throughout the day.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with engineering workforce.
• A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance in all driving activities.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
