Job Descrption
ECLL are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Collection and Delivery Courier Driver to join our team working with DHL based at Park Royal near Wembley. The successful candidate will ideally have some experience, be personable and polite and have a UK driving licence. They will need to be physically fit and able to drive a large Luton type van. As a Courier Driver, they will be responsible for transporting goods and documents in a timely and safe manner. Pay rate is £150 per day, Monday to Friday, 6/6:30 start. Occasional Saturday work available in addition. Please do not apply unless you are able to supply verified previous five year working history or proof of education/unemployment etc. We also have other openings available at sites at Enfield and Dunstable.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Drive a van to deliver packages and documents
- Load and unload goods at the warehouse
- Perform commercial driving tasks... efficiently
- Conduct deliveries promptly and accurately
- Handle heavy lifting when required
Skills
- Experience as a delivery driver is advantageous
- Proficient in driving vans
- Familiarity with warehouse operations
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- Capable of handling heavy lifting tasks
- Commercial driving experience is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £600.00 per week
