Due to our continued growth, we’re looking to recruit somebody who is passionate about their job & enjoys working within a close-knit team. The successful candidate must be energetic, highly organised and pro-active.
We are looking for a dedicated vehicle Parts Advisor with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Motor Trade. As MSC's Parts Advisor, it will be your responsibility to ensure that parts are provided for vehicles accurately and to specification, ensuring a smooth and efficient repair process. It is also imperative that you build and maintain strong relationships with the companies suppliers.
Key... Responsibilities:
• To order vehicle parts & stock from the Companies suppliers, ensuring items are received correctly and of good quality,
• Maintain & develop effective company control systems to ensure all parts are signed out,
• Review and improve discount structures and recommend improvements where required,
• Complete stock takes and maintain an inventory,
• Maintain stock of consumables, ensuring this is kept secure at all times,
• Process accurate returns and refunds where applicable,
• Load purchase invoices/credits through the Bodyshop Management system, ensuring upmost accuracy at all times,
• Maintain effective liaison with colleagues at all levels,
• Develop and maintain good relationships with all suppliers and their representatives,
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner,
• Ensure effective security and stock control within the department.
Other experience, knowledge & skills to include:
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role,
• A comprehensive understanding of basic vehicle layout, function and location of parts,
• A good understanding of stock control and stock-keeping systems,
• Must be able to prioritise your work in a fast-paced environment,
• Good communication skills & proven customer service experience,
• Exceptional attention to detail,
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office, to include Word & Outlook,
• The ability to quickly learn and utilise the companies Bodyshop Management System.
