The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Pipe Fitter/Welder to join our team, covering various sites across London and the Home Counties. This is an exciting role for a skilled professional with experience in pipework and welding, seeking to work on diverse and challenging projects in commercial and industrial environments.
Responsibilities:
• Installing, fabricating, and welding pipework systems for commercial and industrial projects.
• Working with a variety of materials, including steel, copper, and stainless steel.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans to ensure precise installation and alignment.
• Performing welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to high standards.
• Conducting pressure testing and ensuring the integrity of installed pipework.
• Carrying out maintenance and repairs on existing systems... when required.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company procedures on site.
• Liaising with site managers and project teams to ensure smooth project completion.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter/Welder, ideally in commercial or industrial settings.
• Strong skills in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
• Familiarity with various pipework materials and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Relevant qualifications in pipe fitting or welding (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction environments.
• Full UK driving licence.
