Job Summary
As a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer, you will handle the installation... maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. The role involves diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment, ensuring efficient performance, and liaising with clients to maintain high service standards. Ideal candidates will be technically skilled, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, service, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, and residential clients
• Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections to ensure efficient equipment operation
• Diagnose faults, provide effective repair solutions, and maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all job sites
• Build strong relationships with clients and address their needs professionally
• Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in HVAC technology
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent certification)
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, HVAC controls, and fault diagnosis
• F-Gas certification (essential)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license (required for fieldwork)
Preferred Qualifications
• Additional certification in energy-efficient HVAC technologies
• Experience with commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
