Asia Pacific Reinsurance Team is Hiring!
Position: Senior Vice President/Vice President – London Broking, GC Access APAC
Location: London Office
What You Can Expect:
• Support the renewal of reinsurance programs for MGA clients and carriers.
• Cultivate strong relationships with carriers in the MGA sector to understand their needs.
• Generate capacity from Lloyd’s to support Binders in the Asia Pacific region.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with Binder markets and reinsurers to secure secure favourable outcomes for clients.
• Access to world-class resources, including analytics, technology, product expertise, and a robust network to drive growth in this dynamic sector.

We Will Count on You to:
• Ensure timely follow-up on contract documentation and facilitate the smooth flow of materials.
• Address client queries and concerns promptly, resolving issues effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with reinsurers, clients, and colleagues.
• Stay informed about insurer and reinsurer capabilities, including product lines, capacity, and approvals.
• Demonstrate a keen awareness of market conditions to better serve clients and secure optimal terms.
• Document correspondence in accordance with GC procedures.
• Manage Binder and reinsurance placement details accurately and promptly via GC’s online portal (GC MarketPlace).
What You Need to Have:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven business development experience.
• Strong project management and organisational capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of the London Binder and (re)insurance market.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and industry leaders at all levels.
• Discretion and integrity in managing potential conflicts of interest and handling sensitive information.
• Composure under pressure and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
What Makes You Stand Out:
• A proven track record of generating DUA support from the London markets.
• Knowledge of the London market landscape, including carrier capacity, classes, territories, and underwriting personnel.
• Access to decision-makers within the industry.
