Butler Guest Services
The Langham, London; Europe’s first Grand Hotel and Forbes 5* rated property, is currently recruiting for a Butler to join our talented Langham Club team. We are looking for a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level.
In the role of a Butler, your key focus will be to:
• carry out butler duties as required such as packing, unpack and room service
• inspect guest rooms prior to guest arrival as per LHG operating standards
• process check-ins, check-out greeting and rooming VIP guests
• assist with service of food and beverage to Langham Club guests
• establish a strong working relationship with other departments and communicate with the Kitchen, Stewarding, IRD and Housekeeping departments for any special requirements
• deal with guests’ complaints calmly and tactfully and report ALL complaints to your Supervisor or Manager immediately
• personalise and engage with guests at every opportunity
• create... an emotional engagement with guests, thus creating exceptional memories
Do you have? -
• previous experience in Front Office and F&B operation (as a Butler or other roles)
• previous experience of Housekeeping and/or Concierge services is preferable
• hospitality degree is desirable
• knowledge of Opera system
• previous experience in a similar environment
• strong interest and passion for food & beverage
• excellent customer service skills; ability to anticipate guest needs and go the extra mile
• immaculate personal presentation
