Job Descrption
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a safe and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the well-being, development, and education of the children in their care. This role requires a compassionate individual who can create a positive atmosphere while ensuring that the children’s daily needs are met.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and engage with children in various activities, including playtime, educational games, and outdoor activities.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while promoting healthy eating habits.
• Assist with homework and educational tasks to encourage learning and development.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the children, ensuring all areas are tidy and organised.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Drive children to activities or appointments as required, ensuring their safety... at all times.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to help children navigate their feelings and social interactions.
Skills
• Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles is essential.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French is advantageous for bilingual communication.
• Strong educational background or experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with children and parents alike.
• A valid driving licence is necessary for transporting children as needed.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with patience and understanding.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £11.44-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
