Overview
Adams Street Partners is actively seeking an individual to join its Wealth Management team in London. This position will provide a superior level of service to our prospective and existing investors across wealth channels (private banks, HNW platforms and family offices), by creating and coordinating effective communications and data. The Wealth Management Associate will engage with teams across Adams Street to support ongoing investor requests and coordinate wealth-related projects. Given Adams Street’s collaborative culture, this role requires exceptional organizational and client servicing skills, with the ability to successfully manage competing priorities.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
• Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Adams Street product offerings, industry trends, competitive landscape, and the universe of prospective clients across EMEA
• Create existing and prospective client presentations, market updates, and other types of client related communications
• Prepare and deliver customized client-facing materials in response to prospective and existing client requests
• Ensure the timely delivery of standard and customized data & reporting requests
• Conduct market and prospect research across the EMEA region to identify new business opportunities.
• Serve as the point person for the Investor Portal (access to investor portal, data entry) and CRM (Salesforce, including updating client records, tracking opportunities and recording meeting notes)
• Collaborate with teams across the firm to ensure accurate and prompt follow-up to ad hoc projects
• Support the team with marketing efforts including RFPs and due diligence materials
• Gather competitive intelligence and monitor industry events and trends.
Requirements
We seek an individual who is self-disciplined, detail-oriented, demonstrates creative thinking and has the following characteristics:
• Experience in private markets, preferably in a client-facing role.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and French
• 2-4 years’ professional experience, ideally within wealth management or other client-facing roles
• Knowledge of HNW/UHNW investors and/or family offices preferred.
• Ability to synthesize complex information and prepare technical materials in a timely manner.
• Exceptional attention to detail, highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Technically proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP). Salesforce a plus.
• A professional presence combined with exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external parties.
• A highly-motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team context.
• Graduated from an undergraduate university, ideally with a business focus. CFA/CAIA designation or a desire to pursue one is preferred
