The opportunity
As part of our rapidly expanding Design team, you will have the opportunity to help us craft consistent and thoughtful UX designs.
Sharp attention to detail and proficiency in working with and enhancing our design system are essential. Your responsibilities will include working on website redesigns for new clients. Collaboration with our team of UX and UI designers, CRO specialists, strategists, business analysts, and project managers will be a key aspect of this position.
As a Junior Designer, you will:
• Learn, apply, and promote UX standards and patterns while collaborating closely with clients and fellow designers.
• Generate and present ideas internally and to clients through brainstorming sessions.
• Interpret insights from research and apply them effectively to projects.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Participate in design workshops and meetings to showcase your work internally and to client stakeholders.
• Conduct competitor analysis and provide insights for improvement using analytics and design rationale.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as CRO specialists, Developers and Business Analysts.
• Contribute to the overall account strategy and relationship.
• Design websites that are accessible to users with diverse needs and abilities.
• Support Design Manager & Lead Designer with ad-hoc tasks relevant to the design team.
Skills and Experience
• Some experience working with e-commerce websites (experience in an agency setting is preferred).
• Basic skills in sketching, wireframing, prototyping, and creating user flows to visualise ideas.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Google Optimise.
• Developing confidence in presenting designs and solutions to clients and the wider team.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with various outputs.
• Ability to estimate time and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to contribute to shaping and interpreting briefs.
• Familiarity with design software, such as Figma.
Location
We have fully embraced the flexibility of remote work, with team members required to come into our stylish office near Tower Bridge twice a week, typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
