Skills
• Relevant degree in Fashion Design
• Proficient in illustration and visual communication
• Strong experience in the product lifecycle from sketch to consumer
• Knowledge of factory operations and challenges
• Multi-disciplinary design experience across non-clothing product groups
• Broad understanding of the competitive marketplace
• Ability to travel frequently; additional language skills are a plus
Responsibilities
• Create seasonal strategic design briefs for all non-clothing categories (Bags, SLGs, Hard and Soft Accessories)
• Identify style directions for new and existing products
• Collaborate with clothing designers to maintain unified style direction
• Work closely with factories to execute product vision
• Partner with Product Managers to discuss product, materials, pricing, and execution
• Assist Production and Technical Manager with commercialization aspects
• Support the buying, retail, and marketing processes for the collection
• Mentor and support the development of a Design Assistant
Qualifications
• Relevant degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and product lifecycle experience
