London (4 days a week in the office)
Salary – up to £45,000 DOE
I am working with a super fast growing streetwear brand who are looking for a creative Designer to join them.
This is a brand new role to the business and they are interested in speaking to candidates who have a real passion for streetwear product and are willing to push the creative boundaries in the space.
The role:
• Use your passion and knowledge of streetwear style to design strong concepts aligned with the brand.
• Present unique and exciting mood boards and trends to Senior Designers.
• Responsible for developing new designs, as well as managing style, fit, and detailing through to the final product.
• Ensure tech packs are prepared to an exceptional standard.
• Work alongside the Product Development team to continuously ensure the final product delivers the highest quality.
• Manage Junior Designers to support them in delivering all projects as well as setting clear goals for their... development.
What they are looking for:
• A true passion and love for streetwear!
• Experience managing a team is a must.
• Be comfortable working in a fast paced/start-up environment.
• 5+ years experience in the fashion industry.
• Excellent knowledge of fashion design and garment construction along with fabrics, trims and accessories
• Proficient in both sketching and CAD as well as experience in using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
• A background in Womenswear and Jersey preferable but not essential
