Job Overview:
As a Garden Designer at Now Gardening, you will be responsible for designing bespoke garden spaces tailored to client preferences while managing various administrative duties to support overall operations. This hybrid role is ideal for a versatile professional with both design expertise and strong organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Garden Design: Create... customized garden designs, including layout plans, plant selections, and landscaping features that reflect client needs and Now Gardening’s standards of excellence.
• Client Consultations: Conduct site visits, assess garden spaces, and collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, providing expert guidance and advice.
• Horticultural Knowledge: Apply in-depth plant and soil knowledge to ensure sustainability and suitability for each design, considering environmental factors.
• Project Coordination: Oversee garden installation projects from design to completion, coordinating with landscapers and suppliers to maintain timelines and quality.
• Administrative Support: Assist with office management tasks, including scheduling, managing inventory, processing orders, and tracking project budgets.
• Client Relationship Management: Act as a primary point of contact for design projects, ensuring clear communication and timely updates.
• Quality Control & Reporting: Maintain records and ensure designs and installations meet company standards. Regularly report project status and updates to management.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in garden design, with a strong portfolio showcasing horticulture and landscaping skills.
• Extensive knowledge of plants, soil, and climate considerations for successful garden designs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, comfortable managing administrative duties.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., CAD or similar) is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with landscaping teams.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
