Job Descrption
At Clifton we offer our clients a personal and comprehensive design service incorporating all aspects of interior design and architecture. The position is well-suited to a person who wants to be involved in all aspects of the design process in support of a project lead. We are looking for someone who is highly creative and passionate about design; interested in quality materials and finishes; has a great eye for detail; and can work efficiently within our processes and collaboratively with the rest of the design team.
Key responsibilities:
· Prepare creative concepts and ideas, and presenting these internally and externally
· Prepare spatial planning and schematic design schemes
· Develop the materiality of projects.
· Assist in the production of detailed drawings, and presentation materials that... effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders
· Assist in the preparation of accurate drawings, details, schedules and specifications for tender
· Sourcing and specifying FF&E
· Working as part of a team to successfully delivers projects from concept to completion.
Knowledge and experience:
· Hold a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field alongside at least 4+ years experience working on high-end residential projects.
· Demonstrated technical ability with experience of detailed drawings packages (Photoshop, AutoCAD, InDesign), schedules and specifications
· Experience in spatial planning and concept development
· Experience in joinery design
· Knowledge of FF&E with an understanding of costs
· Ability and confidence in liaising with contractors, consultants and the wider design team
· Demonstrate excellent time-management skills and manage their own time across a number of projects concurrently.
