Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Interior Design Intern to join our team. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our designers and gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about design and looking to kick-start their career in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating design concepts and presentations for client projects
- Conduct research on materials, finishes, and furniture options
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction and installation
- Collaborate with the... design team to develop design solutions that meet the client's needs and budget
- Attend client meetings and site visits to gain a better understanding of the design process
- Assist in sourcing and ordering materials and furniture for projects
- Maintain project files and documentation
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new design techniques
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an interior design program or recently graduated
- Strong passion for interior design and a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of British building codes and regulations is an asset
