About the role :
This new team are seeking a driven Surgery Manager to oversee the efficient operation of our two sites small animal practice in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of the practice to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and delivery of good customer service.
What will you do?
Liaising with our clinical directors to oversee management of the practice and our teams, including recruitment, HR, and performance management to include controlling sickness levels in the clinic.
Handle financial management tasks such as budgeting, invoicing, financial reporting and pay roll submissions to an external team.
Coordinate with veterinary professionals to deliver high-quality gold standard care to our clients and the patients.
Oversee administrative tasks to maintain an organized and efficient practice environment with a strong focus on team, client and patient well being - focus on rotas, holiday approval, introduction of a healthcare plan... and client complaint management
Skills
Experience in managing a veterinary practice at manager level
Strong leadership skills and team development skills
Proficient in financial management and budgeting
Excellent customer care skills with professionalism and empathy
Good time management skills with an ability to prioritise work based on importance and dead lines
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to provide staff engagement
First class understanding of the Veterinary Industry
