Job Descrption
The Luxury Travel Sales Consultant role is about using your imagination, knowledge and flair to create unique and beautifully presented itineraries and memorable holiday experiences. This is not an ordering taking sales role and you will take pride in creating itineraries which match our client's needs and expectations.
Previous background in a comparable position within luxury travel is desirable, however if you possess a genuine enthusiasm for travel and can demonstrate proven sales expertise, your application will still be taken into consideration.
The role:
• Creating and producing imaginative itineraries using expert knowledge, attention to detail and creativity
• Answering and responding to all enquiries and brochure requests in a prompt and... professional manner
• Managing a portfolio of personal clients to ensure a high level of customer retention and referral business
• Being responsible for your own administration from enquiry to return, ensuring prompt and effective delivery of information, documentation and tickets
• Attending trade shows, exhibitions and events on behalf of the company (this may include weekends)
You will have:
• At least one year's experience within the Luxury Travel sector (preferable)
• Previous travel destination knowledge ideally in Africa, Asia, Caribbean, Australasia or Indian Ocean
• Competency of IT systems such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and to multitask and make things happen
• Outstanding customer service skills
Additional Information:
• Salary £28-32,000 (depending on experience) plus commission
• Office based in London or Bucks
