Job Descrption
Help manage patient flow, with particular focus on achieving the 4-hour target. Gain excellent experience in Paediatric Emergency Medicine, and in education, management, and quality improvement. There is shop-floor consultant cover seven days a week from 0800-2230. There is a consultant dedicated to supervising the PED during weekdays until 1400-2100.
The ED Consultants are committed to the supervision and development of these posts. You will be allocated a PEM consultant as your Educational Supervisor, helping you gain the development and competencies you seek and to support you with PEM or GRID subspeciality applications if required.
