• Job Title: People Operations Coordinator
• Level & Responsibility: This role is at Executive level and reports to the Senior People Operations Manager
• Salary: £28,000+ per annum, depending on experience
• Location & Hybrid Working: 2-3 days in the London office
The role
We are looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our central SMG team on a 4- month fixed-term contract. The core focus in this role will be supporting on the new HR system roll out, data inputting for the new HR system migration and managing the core people process such as the employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits and reward. What you'll be doing
We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like:
HR Administration:
• Own and manage all recurring employee administration tasks, including letter creation (pay rises, promotions, etc.), processing invoices and referral fees, and producing ad hoc reports.
• Supporting the roll out of the new HRIS, owning the admin and data inputting to ensure a seamless transition.
• Provide prompt and personalised responses to assigned tasks from the HR shared inbox, ensuring timely resolutions for all requests.
Performance & Probation Management:
• Administer the probation process, serving as the first point of contact for managers and employees. This includes sending probation reminders, conducting check-ins, updating systems, and issuing probation outcome letters.
• Support the bi-annual performance review cycle and quarterly review process, ensuring that performance evaluations are communicated, tracked, and completed effectively through the HR System.
Training & Development Coordination:
• Ensure SMG University is running smoothly, assisting with the coordination and setup of training across the business.
• Manage the learning platform, ensuring timely updates and track employee development progress.
• Oversee the administration of the Uni Fund, including monitoring requests, managing the inbox, booking training sessions, paying invoices and tracking fund usage within budget.
Payroll, Benefits & Compensation:
• Support monthly payroll processing, ensuring accurate administration and input of employee changes such as new starters, leavers, benefits and all other changes.
• Manage and update employee data on Flexcel (our benefits platform), ensuring compensation changes, new starters, and leavers are processed accurately.
