Job Descrption
We currently have an Osteopath that is moving in September 2024, so our office is in need of a replacement for currently booked clients. Join our team of specialists who provide Osteopathy, Registered Massage Therapy, and Registered Acupuncture/TCM to create a wider range of services for our client base to reach their optimal health & wellness goals.
Responsibilities at Active Wellness as an Osteopath:
• Resume treatment plans with current booked Osteopathy clients.
• Conduct thorough Assessments of clients medical health histories and current medical conditions.
• Develop treatment plans according to clients medical needs.
• As an Osteopath, you will provide holistic healthcare services to clients using manual osteopathic techniques.
• Use Osteopathic assessments to prepare treatment plans for specific points of the body.
• Osteopathic treatments will involve a wide range of conditions including but not limited to acute injuries, chronic pain, motor vehicle accident injuries, sports... injuries and relaxation.
• Advise clients on health care recommendations including nutrition, lifestyle modifications and exercise.
• Follow up with clients and monitor progress.
• Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients.
• Able to work with a various age range of clientele from children to seniors,
• Excellent record keeping skills,
• Communicate well with clients treatment plan prescription and home care recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills
• Must be registered and in good standing with the Registered Osteopaths of Ontario and must hold a Diploma of Osteopathic Manual Practitioners
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be client-service oriented, positive and friendly, and work well with others.
• Ability to work safely and in compliance with all health, and sanitary standards.
• Licensed and insured to enable our office to direct bill to extended health insurance companies
• Must be able to work at our office in London, ON

Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
