What You'll Do
- Technical Project Organization and Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Oversee project scope, resources, and dependencies to mitigate risks and maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with business goals.
- Requirements Gathering:
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to capture project specifications and expectations.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks, ensuring clarity and alignment among team members.
- GitLab Expertise:
- Leverage knowledge and familiarity with GitLab to streamline development workflows and enhance collaboration across teams.
- Drive adoption of best practices within GitLab to optimize version control, code review, and continuous integration processes.
- Sprint Planning Meetings:
- Facilitate sprint planning meetings effectively, guiding developers through ticket prioritization, sizing exercises, and task assignments.
- Foster a collaborative environment where team members contribute insights and collectively commit to sprint goals.
- Documentation and Communication:
- Demonstrate proficiency in writing comprehensive tickets, requirements documents (PRD), and technical documentation.
- Communicate project progress, milestones, and challenges clearly and concisely to stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in technical project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in sprint planning and execution.
- Familiarity with GitLab or similar version control platforms is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
