We are seeking a dynamic and driven freelance Technical Leader/Project Manager to spearhead our technical projects, ensuring seamless execution from inception to delivery. What You'll Do
Technical Project Organization and Management:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
Oversee project scope, resources, and dependencies to mitigate risks and maximize efficiency.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align project objectives with business goals.
Requirements Gathering:
Conduct thorough requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to capture project specifications and expectations.
Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks, ensuring clarity and alignment among team members.
GitLab Expertise:
Leverage knowledge and familiarity with GitLab to streamline development workflows and enhance collaboration across teams.
Drive adoption of best practices within GitLab to optimize version control, code review, and continuous integration processes.
Sprint Planning Meetings:
Facilitate sprint planning meetings effectively, guiding developers through ticket prioritization, sizing exercises, and task assignments.
Foster a collaborative environment where team members contribute insights and collectively commit to sprint goals.
Documentation and Communication:
Demonstrate proficiency in writing comprehensive tickets, requirements documents (PRD), and technical documentation.
Communicate project progress, milestones, and challenges clearly and concisely to stakeholders, fostering transparency and alignment.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in technical project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in sprint planning and execution.
Familiarity with GitLab or similar version control platforms is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on driving results and continuous improvement.
