Job Descrption
We are looking for a Front of House Officer to be based at our client in South West London. The site is a large museum which holds many different events across the course of the year including fashion shows and weddings. To provide first point of contact visitor experience, and a welcoming approach, to manage entry and egress, to stop anyone entering with food or drink, to ensure all over sized bags are stopped, tagged and directed to the cloakrooms.
As a Front of... House Officer you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Front Of House Officer:
• Preventing oversized bags, etc according to the V&A cloakroom policy in the SOP's
• Ensuring no drinks or food is allowed into the museum
• Ensure the doors are closed up in the event of a serious security threat
• Visitors and staff exit the building in the event of a fire or evacuation
• Proactively assess all visitors and approach any suspicious guests, engage in conversation to assess their authenticity & call for assistance if required
• Assisting on events out of hours (not contracted)

• Deliver excellent customer service
• Current First Aid certificate
• SIA Door Supervisor
• Proven leadership skills
• Customer Service experience, preferably in a front-line role
• Security Experience
• Administrative experience
