QINLOCK is approved in Australia, Canada, China, the European Union, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Taiwan, the United States, and the United Kingdom. We wholly own QINLOCK and all of our drug candidates with the exception of a development and commercialization out-license agreement for QINLOCK in Greater China. In addition to QINLOCK, we have identified and advanced multiple product candidates... from our platform into clinical studies, including vimseltinib and DCC-3116.

Job Description
We are seeking a Market Access Director to lead our efforts in evidence generation for the cost-effectiveness archetype markets in Europe while also supporting our International expansion. Your strong experience in building and executing market access strategies and tactics will support us to establish a globally aligned market access pathway. As Deciphera we are dedicated to enable patients access to our innovative products and our promising pipeline.
This position will report to the VP Market Access International. The location of the position is in the United Kingdom.
What You'll Do:
• Establish Deciphera as credible stakeholder with Health Authorities ( NICE, SMC, NHS England, NHS Scotland, etc.)
• Lead the Pricing and Reimbursement strategy and processes for UK
• Inform International and European Market Access Strategy with UK insights and priorities
• Leading the Development of the Strategic HTA evidence base for commercial and/or late stage assets in collaboration with Medical and HEOR
• Leading Strategic and Operational Pricing and Reimbursement Submissions for Cost-Effectiveness archetype markets
• Ensuring Cost-Effectiveness Archetype priorities are reflected within clinical development strategy as well as within Market Access and Pricing strategies.
• Leading European RWE strategy and execution that are essential for market access success of commercial and late stage assets
• Providing input and having a seat on the International and Global cross-functional program / workstream teams
• Supporting International market access efforts with HTA evidence adaptation and expertise where needed
• Supporting and being part of the development for best-in-class market access organization
• Ad-hoc lead or support on various functional priorities / projects
Qualifications
What You'll Bring:
• University degree, MBA or PhD in science and/or economics preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading the development of strategic HTA evidence and including cost-effectiveness archetypes in several stages
• Hands-on experience with HTA
• Demonstrated knowledge of markets access trends, tactics, and UK as well as european dynamics
• Demonstrated knowledge in at least one of the core market access domains (pricing, HEOR, policy, local market execution)
• Experience and proven success working with cross-functional teams across geographies
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities (both “self” and through delegation) and working in a fast-paced environment
• Oncology experience is a plus
• Fluency in both written and oral English is essential
• Excellent ability to see the ‘bigger picture’ in market access and work across domains
• Ability to manage ambiguity, frequent change and senior level engagements; Ability to confidently seek out help when needed
• Strong strategic, tactical and operational skills and ability and willingness to switch between strategic and operational level of working
• Strong learning agility and ability to engage in-depth across multiple disease areas
• Clear ability to work across cultures, languages, and geographies and willingness travel frequently, as the business requires
