Job Descrption

We’re currently partnered with a renewable energy trading and services company with a global presence and offices in London. They have aggressive growth plans and are looking to develop their renewable & battery storage capability with solid financial backing from their parent company to operate in volatile markets. You will work closely with the Head of Origination and Head of GB Services to develop market leading products, taking these from conception to commercial execution.

You will work closely with the Head of Origination and Head of GB Services to develop market leading products, taking these from conception to commercial execution.

Responsibilities

Product... Structuring & Development,

▪ Developing an understanding of the revenue streams available

▪ Support in the development of renewable and battery storage products, working with pricing, trading, marketing, and legal

▪ Conduct analysis, and gather market intelligence to inform product development

Client Origination

▪ Identify potential leads and clients to discuss origination and new product opportunities

▪ Support in the development of presentations, proposals and term sheets

▪ Support the negotiation and execution of contracts with new clients

Business Development Activities

▪ Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the business unit

▪ Marketing and profile building through networking, attendance at conferences, speaking opportunities, blog posts, demonstrating thought leadership

Role Requirements

▪ 5+ years’ experience in the energy sector, with specific experience in the GB Battery Energy Storage market

▪ High level of commercial and financial acumen

▪ Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate complex matters in clear language, both internally and with clients directly.

▪ Innovative thinker, with strong analytical skills: an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

▪ Problem solving and a can-do attitude, coupled with a high level of resilience and tenacity
