Job Descrption
Job Summary: A YouTube content creator in the finance niche is responsible for producing engaging, informative, and high-quality video content that uses storytelling to present various financial topics. This includes personal finance, investing, budgeting, financial planning, stock market insights, cryptocurrency, and other relevant subjects. The creator will develop a content strategy, film, edit, and upload videos, and engage with the audience to grow a community of subscribers interested in financial literacy and wealth-building strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
• Research and create video content on a range of finance-related topics such as budgeting, investing, savings, debt management, stock market trends, etc.
• Develop informative and entertaining scripts that simplify complex financial concepts.
Audience Engagement:
• Respond to comments and engage with the YouTube community to build a loyal audience.
•... Encourage subscriptions, likes, and shares to increase channel visibility.
Data Analysis:
• Monitor channel performance using YouTube Analytics to track video views, audience demographics, and engagement.
• Adjust content strategies based on data insights to increase subscriber count and overall video performance.
Video Production (preferred):
• Record high-quality videos using appropriate equipment (camera, microphone, lighting, etc.).
• Edit videos with appropriate software, ensuring smooth transitions, accurate information, and engaging visuals.
Requirements:
• Mandarin is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of finance, economics, and personal finance management.
• Proven experience with video creation and editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial topics in simple terms.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and entertaining content.
• Knowledge of YouTube algorithms, SEO, and other social media platforms (Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram).
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• 3 years previous experience in finance-related content creation or a finance industry role.
• Familiarity with monetization strategies on YouTube and other platforms.
Salary: Appointments are normally made at the starting salary, however comparable skills and experience will be considered Future Progression is based on seasonal and annual performance review.
Duration of Contract:
Fixed term for 3-month probation; Permanent Contract will be offer if the candidate passes the probationary period.
Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Ability to Commute: London (required)
