Job Descrption
We are looking for an experienced in house florist for Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
Within the role, you'll be responsible for designing and creating arrangements for all manner of events, such as weddings, parties, corporate gatherings, and other special occasions. Your creativity and expertise in floral design will be essential in bringing our clients' visions to life, ensuring memorable and visually stunning experiences.
• A minimum of 3 years experience is required alongside a passion for floristry and a desire to grow.
• The role is full-time, 40 hour week / over 5 days - 7 days working week, weekend availability
• 9 hours shift including 1 hour unpaid break
• Holiday rules apply
We require:
1. Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 year experience in floral design, particularly in event or wedding floristry.
2. Creativity and Design Skills: Strong creative flair with a keen eye for design aesthetics and trends.
3. In-depth knowledge of various flowers, foliage, and... their seasonal availability. Understanding of floral care and handling techniques to maintain freshness.
4. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, vendors, and event professionals effectively.
5. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
6. Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, based on event schedules.
