Charity Fundraiser at Muslims in Need

Job Descrption
Essential criteria MUST have a minimum of 2-3 years of fundraising experience working with similar charities.
£12.50 - £25 per hour depending on experience.
Introduction - Muslims in Need is a charity organisation that provides humanitarian aid and support to vulnerable communities around the world. Our work typically includes emergency relief, food distribution, medical aid, water and sanitation projects, educational programs, and orphan care. International deployment opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising Strategies:
Implement plans to meet financial targets and organisational goals.
Identify and leverage various fundraising opportunities, including individual giving, high-net-worth donors, corporate partnerships, grants, events, challenges, and campaigns.
2. Donor Cultivation and Management:
Build and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and partners.
Ensure donor pledges are fulfilled and communicate effectively with donors, keeping them informed about their contributions' impact and project progress through high-quality reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
3. Fundraising and Event Planning:
Organise and coordinate fundraising events, campaigns, and activities.
Serve as the main contact for nationwide Masajid collections.
Represent the charity at events, including public speaking.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events.
Develop relationships with communities, institutions and groups.
Conduct Masjid fundraising collections, especially during Ramadan, Qurbani, and Emergency appeals.
Handle fundraising administrative tasks.
Help out the wider team as and when needed
4. Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure all activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
Stay updated on best practices, regulations, and trends in fundraising.
Any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of the post.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: £12.50-£18.00 per hour
