Job Descrption
A prestigious and well-established surgical practice is in search of a dedicated associate to join an expert team consisting of 2 General Surgeons, 2 Bariatric/General Surgeons, and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). As part of this dynamic team, you will engage in a diverse array of surgical cases that encompass laparoscopic procedures and select trauma cases. Opportunities to... utilize DaVinci robotic systems are available for those with an interest in advanced technology.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct a variety of surgical procedures in a bustling practice environment.
• Collaborate with fellow surgeons and APPs to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Participate in a shared call schedule at a ratio of 1:5.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development initiatives.
• Uphold best practices in surgical procedures and patient management.
Required Skills
• Proficiency in laparoscopic surgical techniques.
• Familiarity with DaVinci robotic systems is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• Competence in managing a diverse range of surgical cases.
• A commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Qualifications
• Board certified or board eligible in General Surgery.
• Relevant experience in a surgical practice is highly desirable, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an aptitude for teamwork are essential.
