Are you an experienced Midwife looking for an exciting opportunity in London? Join London Healthcare Locums, where we are dedicated to providing high-quality maternity care across Central, North, South, East, and West London. We are actively seeking skilled Midwives to join our team and contribute to the care of expectant mothers and newborns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maternity Care: Provide comprehensive care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period.
• Labour Support: Assist and support women during labour and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
• Antenatal Care: Conduct antenatal check-ups, provide education on pregnancy and childbirth, and manage any complications.
• Postnatal Care: Offer postnatal support, including breastfeeding guidance, newborn care, and maternal health monitoring.
• Patient Education: Educate mothers and families on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum... recovery.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• NMC Registered Midwife: Must hold a valid midwifery qualification and be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK.
• Experience in Maternity Care: Previous experience as a midwife is essential.
• Compassionate Care: Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to provide guidance and support to mothers and families.
