Monday – Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00

This role offers a competitive salary dependent on experience.
We’re looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our Biochemistry team at our HCA Laboratories based in Shropshire House.
Assist in the day-to-day management of the referrals section for the Biochemistry department.
Process blood/serum/plasma and other body fluid samples for analysis, prepare aliquots for referral sites and for storage.
Loading and unloading Analysers.
Machine maintenance.
Respond to Temperature... Monitoring System (Tutela) alarms and record findings.
Attend mandatory HCA training.
Previous experience in a laboratory.
Ability to be flexible with hours & duties where needed.
