Kobler HIV outpatient clinic is seeking a HIV Nurse Practitioner for an 12 month fixed term post.

A key part of this role will focus on enhancing clinical research delivery and innovation in line with Trust strategies, while also working clinically as a Nurse Practitioner independently managing the care of people living with HIV.

The successful candidate will be a senior clinical team member and leader, ideally with research experience, hold the Non-Medical Pracriber qualification and bring clinical expertise to deliver high-quality care.

They will lead specific research projects and management functions as agreed with clinic leads, while managing a caseload of patients requiring routine HIV care. The role also involves recruiting and following up on patients in research studies, and implementing innovative diagnostic and therapeutic tools.

You will join a friendly, dynamic, and supportive team, requiring a self-motivated, clinically-experienced Nurse with a passion for research... and innovation. Experience in HIV care is essential. This role is perfect for those who are already working at a Band 7 level or are a Band 6 with previous experience.

• A key part of this role will be to enhance the delivery of clinical research and innovation in accordance with the Trust Strategies and to work in a clinical capacity as an independent Nurse Practitioner managing the care of people living with HIV.
• They will be a role model for expert clinical care, and lead on specific research projects / management functions as agreed with the clinic leads.
• The individual will manage a caseload of patients with HIV requiring routine care. Additionally, the post holder will be involved in the recruitment and follow up of patients in research studies and the implementation and management of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic tools.
• You will be part of a friendly, dynamic and supportive team and will need to be a self-motivated and clinically-experienced adult nurse, with a passion for clinical research and innovation and experience of working in the area of HIV and sexual health.
• The post holder will hold (or be supported to obtain) the Non-Medical Prescriber qualification
• It is also essential that you can plan and prioritize your workload in order to meet performance targets and deadlines; you will need to have excellent organizational skills.
• You will work under the management of the Clinic Manager and the SSC Lead Consultant.
