Job Descrption
We are seeking a proofreader with experience in the higher Education sector to join our team. You must be proficient in advanced and basic grammar rules and understand how they are applied within our style guides. Our ideal candidate is meticulous in noting errors such as punctuation, spelling, and word count, knows how to check statements for accuracy and potential plagiarism and compliance issues. You must be able to communicate with our team of Copywriters and the Marketing Team to ensure all content meets our company guidelines and is fit for purpose.
Main Responsibilities
• Review all content documents for grammar, spelling, style and tone of voice.
• Meet proofreading deadlines.
• Fact-check course information, dates and other statements for accuracy
• Ensure all text adheres to tone and character count outlined by brief requirements.
• Confirm that all submitted content is original.
• Make corrections to... formatting and compositional errors in Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.
• Monitor copywriter content for quality and consistency.
Requirements

• SEO knowledge and understanding
