What You’ll Be Doing:
• Ownership of critical metrics: Take charge of site optimisation to improve conversions from sessions to leads and from leads to bookings.
• Trading Strategy Implementation: Carry out the web trading strategy, manage the trading calendar, and improve merchandising.
• Collaborative Growth: Work closely with the marketing team to align web experiences with traffic acquisition and retention goals.
• Customer Experience Enhancement: Constantly improve user engagement by optimising landing pages, collections, and promotions.
• On-Site Search Optimisation: Analyse search behaviours, share insights, and implement improvements.
• Data-Driven Prioritisation: Leverage trading insights and trends to focus efforts in collaboration with product and commercial teams.
• Cross-Departmental Engagement: Collaborate with acquisition, retention, and development teams to find opportunities, monitor performance, and adjust tactics as needed.
• Performance Monitoring: Utilise analytics to observe the customer journey, generate reports, and propose actionable insights.
• Continuous Testing & Improvement: Work with development and CRO teams to identify and implement opportunities for site enhancement.
What We’re Looking For:
• Extensive experience in e-commerce or web trading, preferably within a high-growth, SME environment.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and insights tools (Google Analytics).
• Resourceful Innovator: A proactive individual who relies on data to identify and resolve issues, while effectively navigating a matrix organisation to propel initiatives forward.
• Relationship Builder: Proven track record to collaborate with collaborators and maintain strong, effective relationships.
• Team Leader: A capable and inspiring manager who motivates teams to deliver results.
