About the role
Traffic Label is looking for an Digital Marketing Manager IM / SMS to drive our strategy and execution of acquisition and marketing campaigns across instant messaging channels such as SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and other platforms.
In this role, you will develop and implement messaging strategies to drive player engagement, grow our presence in these channels, and negotiate with third-party providers to maximise opportunities and improve our sending infrastructure.
You will be responsible for growing revenues from instant messaging while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in the UK, Germany, and Canada.
Key responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive instant messaging strategy across SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and other platforms
• Negotiate with third-party messaging platforms to optimise campaign performance and expand our reach
• Create, test, and optimise messaging campaigns to drive player sign-ups and engagement
•... Collaborate with the wider marketing team to ensure messaging strategies align with overall player acquisition goals
• Analyse messaging performance data, providing insights and making adjustments to improve results
• Ensure all messaging campaigns are compliant with industry regulations and data protection laws
• Stay up-to-date with trends in instant messaging marketing and adopt new strategies as they emerge
• Report on the performance of instant messaging campaigns, including conversion rates and revenue impact
The ideal candidate
• Proven experience in managing SMS, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger campaigns, preferably in the gambling or affiliate marketing industry
• Strong understanding of instant messaging platforms and their capabilities
• Experience negotiating with third-party platforms and vendors
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Data-driven mindset with a strong ability to analyse performance and optimise accordingly
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in messaging marketing (e.g., GDPR)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects at once
• Experience in the online gambling or betting industry is highly advantageous
