About the role

We are hiring for a Social Impact Partnerships Manager on our Community team to help drive our Social Impact programs. You will be responsible for cultivating relationships with community nonprofits, forging partnerships with strategic organizations, orchestrating in-person activations in key markets across the US, and overseeing employee volunteerism initiatives. This role requires a proactive and collaborative individual who is dedicated to driving positive social change and making a tangible impact on communities.

The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $130,050 and up to $180,600. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Identify and establish ongoing partnerships with local and national nonprofit organizations aligned with our mission and values to further Chime’s social impact goals
  • Cultivate strong relationships with nonprofit leaders, understanding their needs and goals to develop mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Train and prepare partners, members, and community leaders to speak on behalf of our work and partnerships.
  • Work cross-functionally with Government Affairs, the broader Corporate Affairs team, and the Chime Scholars Foundation to leverage partners across teams and goals.
  • Develop and implement in-person activations, events, and campaigns in key markets across the US to raise awareness and drive engagement with our members and their communities.
  • Design and implement employee volunteerism programs that empower and mobilize Chimers to give back to the community in strategic ways.
  • Support our Communications and Marketing teams in finding creative ways to tell our social impact stories.

  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience in public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Experience creating and driving volunteer events and opportunities.
  • Formal or informal experience creating and executing events.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to develop and implement creative initiatives that drive social impact and achieve organizational goals.
  • Highly organized and meticulous self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for making a positive difference in the world.
