Job Descrption
We are seeking an Import/Export Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the movement of goods in and out of the country, ensuring compliance with regulations and overseeing the logistics of international trade.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate import/export operations, including documentation and customs clearance
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers
• Utilise transportation management systems to track shipments
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations for imported goods
• Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with sales teams to support lead generation activities
• Implement Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes for efficient transactions
• Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) providers for smooth operations
• Utilise software systems to streamline import/export processes
Qualifications
• Experience in supply chain management and international trade
• Proficiency in... transportation management systems
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations and procedures
• Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Knowledge of sales management practices in an import/export context
