Role: Solicitor for Community Care Department
An established law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced solicitor for a permanent position within their Community Care department. The firm serves corporate entities and individuals in over 25 practice areas in London and across England and Wales, and is recognized in The Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners.
Responsibilities:
• Report to department Director
• Manage all aspects of Community Care work
• Supervise other team members and manage caseloads
• Deal with correspondence and maintain accurate time costing procedures
• Implement supervisor recommendations and ensure compliance with file management
• Handle a variety of Community Care matters including judicial review and ancillary applications
• Engage in business development and marketing
Requirements:
• Clean, valid Practicing Certificate
• Proven supervisory experience
• Excellent client care skills and ability to resolve complicated practicalities
• Networking and... communication skills
• Ability to generate new business
• IT Skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
