Automation Engineer - Object Infrastructure at Henderson Scott

Job Descrption
We are seeking an Automation Engineer for Object Infrastructure to join our team. This is a remote position with a competitive rate for a 3-month contract with possible extensions.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Identifying service owners and planning change schedules and resource requirements
• Supporting cyber security threat remediation efforts
• Developing and driving automation for Object infrastructures
• Conducting capacity planning and managing purchase requirements
• Delivering change measurement reports and KPIs
To qualify for this role, you should have:
• A degree in computer science or related field with 2-5 years of experience
• Demonstrable experience with Storage platforms in the Object area
• Experience in Dell EMC ECS, NetApp StorageGrid, Veritas Enterprise Vault, and OpenText InfoArchive
• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, MS Azure, NAS, SAN, and backup systems
• Experience working in an Agile environment and with tools like... JIRA, Confluence, and Ansible
• Basic server administration and virtualization knowledge
• Automation scripting experience with scripting languages such as Ansible and Python
