About the Role:
We are seeking a contract QA engineer who is knowledgeable in Linux, installation of operating systems on computers, and familiar with how IoT devices work. The ideal candidate should also have basic knowledge of electronics and be familiar with testing tools such as power supplies.
The QA engineer will maintain test benches, support remote team members, and set up new test benches. The QA engineer will also be responsible for manually and automatically executing test scenarios.
What You’ll Do:
- Maintenance of test stations
- Support for remote team members
- Execution of test scenarios manually and automatically.
- Install Operating Systems on testing computers
- Be involved in the software development life cycle for all Motive products and assist in regular test execution.
- Contribute to test plans, test cases and other test activities as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Knowledge of Linux
- Knowledge of installing operating systems on computers
- Familiarity with how IoT devices work
- Familiarity with testing tools such as power supplies
- Basic knowledge of electronics
