Who You'll Work With
You will be based out of London office as part of our Energy Solutions team.
Energy Solutions is a specialist data and analytics unit, providing distinctive analysis, insights, and support to energy players. Within this field, we offer services on strategy, company diagnostics, operational performance, energy transition and sustainability topics.
Our dedicated team apply proprietary tools and methodologies and a data-driven approach to develop knowledge and capabilities available nowhere else.
Your impact within our firm
As a key member of the Energy Solutions team, you will focus on benchmarking and helping companies identify and accelerate improvements in operations and decarbonization.
You will work as part of a team responsible for... structuring, building, and maintaining a suite of models that help us work with a broad range of energy clients along the value chain. We combine our proprietary models with team expertise to help the largest energy companies in the world operate more efficiently and sustainably.
This role will give you the opportunity to gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to the firm. You will receive exceptional training as well as frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues on your teams.
Some recent examples of how we have supported our clients include:
• Helping a international energy company baseline performance of a newly acquired business, advising on where they should prioritize operational performance improvements
• Advising a global energy player on their organization structure, to enable them to unlock growth opportunities across the business
• Re-imagining a maintenance program for an oil and gas business, helping them optimize workflows and deliver higher reliability performance
• Decarbonisation of an energy asset
Your qualifications and skills
• University degree, preferably in engineering, mathematics/statistics, computer science or a business-related field
• Any experience relating to the oil and gas or broader energy sector and/or with engineering experience is a plus
• Highly analytical individual with a problem-solving mindset
• Strong skills in quantitative analysis
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment; capable of driving work independently when required
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively – both verbally and in writing
• Willingness to travel
