Handy/Maintenance Person at AWH

Job Descrption
• Regularly perform maintenance jobs
• Decorating, repairs and provide painting services
• Undertake light installation or carpentry
• Changing locks as necessary
• Fire door inspections (training provided)
• Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work
• Inspect and report the need for major maintenance repairs
• Regular visit of various properties to check and identify issues, mechanical failure, or breakdowns
• Respond to clients’ maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
The ideal candidate will have:
• Proven work experience within the field of maintenance and repairs (ideally a trade qualification or multi trade desirable but not essential)
• Awareness of all Health and Safety instructions relevant to your area of work. Such as working from heights and... carrying items.
• A good problem solver who can escalate to the Property Managers or third parties when necessary.
• Ability to successfully pass any security/DBS checks.
• Clean driving licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
