Job Descrption
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, building, and repairing refrigeration units and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
We work within the hospitality industry so most of our work is in coffee shops, pubs and hotels.
Salary will be based on experience and qualifications.
Due to our motor insurance you must be over 21 with full driving licence.
Our office is based in Hampshire, you will be asked to visit our premises every so often.
• Duties*
- Maintain and repair fridges, freezers and air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Proven track record of working on refrigeration and various air conditioning systems - VRV / VRFs, split & multi-split systems.
- Build and install new coldroom, air conditioning units, including ductwork and associated... components.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Read and interpret technical schematics to troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and equipment repairs.
• Experience*
- Proven experience in refrigeration and air conditioning engineering or a related field is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
