About the team
Worldpay powers 2.2 trillion payments annually across 146 countries in over 135 separate currencies with over a million-merchants supported globally. Worldpay is the largest acquirer by volume globally, we provide a reliable, secure, and scalable payments platform 24x7 365 day a year.
Being part of the organization, you’ll help to engineer and deliver the core infrastructure services that power our payments platform... We’re responsible for running some very critical systems, hosted from our data centers and public cloud.
What you will own
As a Delivery Network Engineer, you’ll work with large, complex network systems and help maintain the infrastructure that’s critical to the world of global fintech. This will involve upgrading systems and software and deploying network devices such as routers, switches, load balancers and firewalls. You are the end-to-end owner of network infrastructure. You design and manage network security frameworks to support all hosted environments. You own information security and network reliability, and they are at the core of your thought processes.
• Resolving all network problems and quickly responding to customer requests.
• Troubleshooting network problems and recommending corrective procedures.
• Maintaining network services documentation and completing network change requests.
What you bring:
• Knowledge of network technologies and basic IT technologies
• A bachelor’s in a technical discipline or the equivalent experience.
• Experience with routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VRF
• Experience with SDWAN
• Experience with large-scale enterprise networks
