Job Descrption
We are seeking two talented and motivated Junior Tester(s) to join a financial services business on a contract basis based in Bromley, Kent. This is an initial 3 month contract with the potential to extend further.
The successful candidate(s) will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our software through various testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
• Execute test cases, report bugs, and verify fixes to ensure the software meets the desired quality standards
• Develop effective strategies and test plans to assess software quality
• Working closely with the Test Lead, developers and other team members within an agile software development environment
• Contributing to ideas for system improvements
• Create and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing
• Conduct functional testing to identify software defects
• Perform performance testing to assess system efficiency
• Utilise root cause analysis to investigate and resolve... issues
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Tester, Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
• Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Knowledge of software testing techniques and best practices
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies
• Previous experience Testing ERP and or CRM systems would be advantageous but not essential
It is essential that the successful candidate is able to commute to the offices in Bromley, Kent this contract is on site full time and not remote.
